Very Nice! Reminded me of the new Star Trek trailers somewhat. What software are you using if you don't mind me asking. Regardless, you have talent.

Columbers responds:

The instruments I use are Cinematic Studio Strings/Piano, Hollywood Brass Gold, Symphonic Orchestra Gold (for woodwinds, harp, etc), Soundiron APE Micro and choir library, and a few free libraries that I don't use much.

Absolutely spot on! I love how you take a James Horner aspect to the piece. I'm surprised this isn't rated higher. It truly sounds as if it were taken straight from an episode or film of Star Trek. I hardly ever post except for things I find exceptional. Well done!!! What program are you using if I may ask?

CFox responds:

Thanks! I sequence it all in Logic, for the version you heard I used Vienna Symphonic Orchestra... however, I've just uploaded a revised version that adds CineBrass... I think it adds quite a bit!

Pretty Good

Could have picked up a little sooner. It's not bad...just a little cliche to me.

bladen-stryph responds:

Thanks for the review. I'll try to "pick up" sooner in later tracks.

You're Clairvoyant

Yes, it was annoying, but the fact that you identified it as such made it fun. I felt like I was facing a boss in Golden Axe. I could hear this in a game. Nice one.

DJRunaway responds:

Thanks :P :) I like to make songs out of desperate boredom...Like this one!

It All Depends

Don't you hate people who download your stuff and don't review it. Freakin' leeches! Anyway, I like the actual beat and melody of the piece, it just had that dated sound. Now if you're going for an old computer game style of sound, then you've succeeded. It could certainly be used on a flash app or on a British Television sci fi program. I'm just not into the whole retro sound to a certain degree as I feel the song can make or break whatever it's presented in. Nice note placement though.

johnfn responds:

Indeed I do, it was bugging me as you can see, just check the end of each description :-P. As you mentioned in your other review, a dated sound, I've never heard of something like that before. Hmm... I'll have to do something about that. Thanks for the review.

I Liked It

I feel like it could be fleshed out more. More instruments. I feel like the previous post may have been a little harsh. I enjoyed the break and some of those lagging breaks that didn't quite seem to belong actually grew on me as a sort of style rather than a mistake. A more agressive drum beat during the, shall we say industrial, part of the track might be cool. It never hurts to add things you wouldn't expect to work. You end up with interesting results.

duksey424 responds:

Na, I'd have to diagree with you. I'm still working with this piece (hence the title) so the title does kind of fit. I just got anexious on putting it on, why i have not the slightest... But I have done some more work to it and once done i plan to repost, hopefully with a title.

Add More Instruments

I enjoyed this piece quite a bit. I think if you threw in some more instuments it would be killer. I like the synthesized sounds but some real strings or even synth ones might add something to it. Good piece of work. Wish there was more.

TheBestFighter responds:

Thanks for this very helpful review!
I agree that I should have added a couple instruments .So, I'll see what I can do about adding instruments. Thanks, again for the review!
